Harriett's New Years resolutions.

I’m Back From Berlin! (It was excellent; blog post is in the pipeline). In the mean time I would like to share with you my new years resolutions. I’m glad to be back!

Its time to move on! There’s only so much stuff you can squeeze into a one-bedroom apartment. This next couple of months I want to have a major clear out, So if late 50’s early 60’s is your cup of tea, (think mad men) then keep your eyes on this blog because there is going to be Esty stores, sales and giveaways galore!

Zipper busted on my favorite skirt? Button missing from that perfect black cardie? Or is the shoulder seam torn, shock horror, from that gin and soda fueled dance? Don’t throw it in the draw thinking tomorrow. From now on I’m going to think today, and get those repairs done. Maybe by June I may have shifted a small proportion, at least enough to get the draw closed!

Sounds selfish, but I can’t remember the last time I was able to make something for myself, every last crafting minute is reserved for gifts and presents. Although they are always appreciated, the 1940’s pajamas patterns are piling up and this year I would like to create time to make something I can wear and be proud of.

No more skipping from painting to needle point, sewing that blouse to knitting those slippers. A certain amount of multi tasking is a good thing, but when you can’t remember how many projects you’ve currently got on the go things have got out of hand!

Get those classes booked baby! I’m going to use my moves to make you week at the knees!

Well there they are, they may not seem like the most challenging or life changing, but anyone who knows me will realize they are going to take a lot of hard work! If I can have even accomplished one by 2012 I will feel like the Queen of the world, or at least a more organized person!

Do you have any resolutions dear readers?

Harriett x
