Want to get your hands on some of my collection? Hell yes you do. If you are in
London this coming Thursday I will be holding a stall at Spitalfields Antiques
Market flogging a huge proportion of my top quality 30's-50's vintage clothing.
Honestly I am parting with of so much good stuff I think its time someone had me committed. There will be a suitcase filled of things for a fiver. THATS £5 LADIES!!!!! Aimee will be there providing support (nipping to the corner shop to buy me cans
of cider). There will probably be a whole host of other character who appear on
this blog from time to time also showing their attractive faces. I would love to meet
any readers that can make it down, so don't be shy, come and say hiiii!
This is what the market looks like, if you have never been, it's a lot of
tables with shit people are selling on them, but it's super cool old shit.
It's a pretty big market place and I am not sure where my stall will be but
I will wear an obnoxiously large hat so you cant miss me.

Spital Fields Market
Horner Square London E1 6EW
9:00 am - To whenever I am cold and tired and drunk and decide to go home.
I sort of felt like this post needed another photo because its a tad on the wordy
side. So he is a snap of Aimee and I really pissed in Berlin. Don't say I don't ever
treat you.
See you at Spitalfields sexy people.

Why am I not there again? Have a good time in the market and we must do it together when our plan takes place! xxxx
ReplyDeleteIt won't be the same without you darling! I will get my practise in for when you come back and we have our stall xxx
DeleteOoo, get back to London the day before this and i'm absolutely sure I'll need a break from working. Who needs to write a dissertation when there's shopping to be done?!?
ReplyDeleteOh wish I could make it! Back in the south on the 15th! Just out of time :(
ReplyDeleteHi! What time is it on till please? WOndering if I can make it after work?!
ReplyDeleteI live across an ocean, so you'll have to take pictures to document the day for us non-Brits! x
ReplyDeleteWould have been wonderful, but sadly the London trip is planned to mid-November, and I have a feeling you'll have closed the stall by then ; )
ReplyDeleteHave a great time, and like Rachel I wish for plenty of pictures! If you'll have time, that is... =)
Oh, my dear girl, if only I could. Mind you, I probably wouldn't get so much as my big toe into anything that size nowadays. Nearly dropped down dead when clearing my own closet a while back at my old and tiny waisted garments still lurking in the Narniaesque depths at the back. Ah well, tempus fugit and all that. I hope you have fun and make oodles of cash and it all goes to good homes.
ReplyDeleteGutted to be missing this!! I don't move up to London til Saturday. Happy selling :)
ReplyDeleteOh HORROR! I start at RADA tomorrow - for the first time in about a month, I won't be free during the week. And I would so have loved to come and say hello! Ditto Kezzie's question about how long you'll be there. (I.e. how long does it take you to get that drunk? :P)
ReplyDeleteNoooo, what's wrong with eBay?
ReplyDeleteOh goodness so wish I could be there...but sadly I live all the way in LA :/

One of the few things I miss about London is Spitalfields market! I'm sure Harriet's booth would have been top notch.
